ABOUT US 

In a true demonstration of synthesis in group cooperation, the people who participated in the creation of this website about the Great Invocation responded to a call from far and wide, via the internet. They are all long-time students of the Ageless Wisdom Teachings, and are dedicated to expanding the consciousness of humanity regarding the practical application of the energy of goodwill, and the development of right human relations in the world. These volunteers offered their talent, time, energy and money to this creation; in a spirit of love and commitment to the ful­fillment of the purpose of the Great Invocation itself. 

A World Prayer for Television and the Internet 

The origin of this particular project of utilizing the global airwaves to promote knowledge and use of the Great Invocation, began nearly 20 years ago in San Francisco, California. In the 1980's, Light On The Bay, a humanitarian and educational service group, believed that making use of emerging technologies to educate and inspire human beings with higher spiritual values was a worthy pursuit. Kosta Gus Makreas was a member of that group. It was his fortuitous meeting with Global Events Producer Rick Lukens (Producer of "Live-Aid," "Farm-Aid" and many other similar events over the past 20 years) that was the catalyst for the formation of the Great Invocation Website Project in 2002. 

 Today, the availability of satellites for television and internet broadcasts is symbolic of a great inner step forward that is concurrently developing within humanity--that of the Law of Invocation/Evocation (See article "The Law of Invocation/Evocation"). This Law will be to the Aquarian Age, what prayer was to the Piscean Age. It is the means by which a person is able to link up--through expansion of one's consciousness--to a great idea, concept, or other source, to receive inspiration. This is then passed on in the world through creative service, goodwill, and love and caring for others. 

Now anyone, almost anywhere in the world, can easily access and download an audio and visual experience that has been created as a source of inspiration. The Internet has been called, "The brain of the planet." Keeping this in mind, when we add our own consciousness as participants to a global satellite transmission, then en masse, we have the potential for an infusion of spiritual energies into the mass of human consciousness that will cause a corresponding degree of inspiration, transmutation, and illumination into the consciousness of the planet. 

The Goals of the Great Invocation Website 

Among the goals of this group is to participate in working with and organizing the men and women of goodwill as a cooperative, synthesized voice of good conscience-the voice of public opinion.

This will help build an organized voice within humanity that will have a positive and influential impact on world affairs. 

Within the teachings of every world religion, we find writings about an expectation of the Coming One, the next World Teacher. We will participate in preparation for this Great Event through vari­ous educational projects and activities based on the information found in the Ageless Wisdom Teachings. 

According to these teachings, there is a Purpose to the existence of life on Earth, and a Plan. The men and women of goodwill, who number in the hundreds of millions, are innately participating in the realization of these ideas and ideals in the world through problem-solving thinking and cre­ative action. Our purpose in this process is contributing in an educational and inspirational capac­ity, as we all walk hand-in-hand into the creation of a New World, in a New Age. 

 

From the Point of Light within the Mind of God, let Light stream forth into human minds, let Light descend on Earth.   From the Point of Love within the Heart of God, let Love stream forth into human hearts, may the Coming One return to Earth.  From the center where the Will of God is known, let Purpose guide all little human wills, the Purpose which the Masters know and serve.  From the center which we call the human race, let the Plan of Love, and Light work out, and may it seal the door where evil dwells.  Let Light, and Love, and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
